How it started
Kelvyn Yeang picked up his first guitar in ’97 and never looked back.
Guitarist for Ocean of Fire, Muffin Scars and a host of other projects, Yeang has been writing, recording, and playing live music for more than 15 years.
His talent took him across the country and as far as South Korea.
The early years
His style has evolved over the years, ranging from rock to progressive with hints of jazz improvisation.
He is actively involved in the music scene, often supporting the Penang Island Jazz Festival and has played the Jarasum Jazz Festival in South Korea.
He was voted Best Guitarist in the 2006 Asian Beat competition and named champion for the 2020 Emiya Guitaraoke.
